About some Stereotype of the food
1. Most of the people think Szechuan food are spicy, but actually there are still many food that’s non-spicy in Szechuan and Chongqing. The following are some of them:
- Huiguo meat
- Kung Pao Chicken
- pork strips with fish flavour
- sliced pork belly with garlic sauce
- Lamb soup
2. In contrary, Anhui food is also considered as a light type of food, there is also some spicy food. For example, the Stinky fish.
3. Most people thinks that Szechuan food is the spiciest type of food in China. In fact, Szechuan food is famous for it’s spiciness, but it’s a kind of spicy together with the flavor “Ma(numb)”. Xiang cuisine can be a lot more spicy then Szechuan food.
